What is Amelia Challenge 2012?

The mission of Rotary is to serve the community and those in need throughout the world. To achieve this, the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise developed the AMELIA CHALLENGE as its signature event. Each year, this event provides much needed funding for local charities and important international projects.

The Amelia Challenge is a unique event that combines sportive and intellectual challenges for the whole family and for all skill levels. (read more…)
There are several ways to participate. 1) Put together a team of four for a chance to win funding for your favorite charity, 2) provide individual or company sponsorship to support the event, 3) volunteer to help the event be successful, 4) come and join the spectators, relax and have fun. CHARITIES work hard and need your help. If you participate on a team and place first in the Amelia Challenge, your selected charity receives $500. The second place team's selected charity receives $250 and the third place receives $100. Proceeds from the event will be awarded to a global or local cause.
